Esiason highlighted, “Most guys think that Carson Wentz would be the answer because you wouldn’t have to give up anything.”

Esiason acknowledged the reservations surrounding Wentz due to his prior performance. In contrast, Zach Wilson, the current starter for the Jets, grapples with inconsistencies in his performance. Never completing more than 56 percent of his passes in a season, Wilson faces pressure to rise above his limitations. Since taking over from Rodgers, he has thrown 310 yards, two touchdowns, and four interceptions in 48 attempts.
